Arrive at 4½ star Bank on Main boutique B&B in Rutherglen to meet Jenni & Doug Cordes. Airport transfer from Albury in the Rolls Royce can be arranged.  Built in 1899, this historic Bank now offers beautiful accommodation for up to two couples. Featuring the original banking chamber, 14 ft ceilings, log fire, ceiling roses and polished floor boards, Bank on Main has been carefully restored, combining classic features with
modern conveniences.

After breakfast at Bank on Main, venture in the 1974 Rolls Royce limousine to Yackandandah, where the Karr's Reef goldmine experience begins. Greg Porter will share with you a most unique experience, including lunch by candlelight and an insight into a remarkable, lovingly restored gold mine that was operational in the 1860s...

Upon return to Rutherglen, Anton, winemaker at Valhalla Wines will offer a personalized wine tasting and tour of his  boutique operation. Return to Bank on Main in the Rolls Royce for pre-dinner drinks.

Dinner is next-door at Beaumont's Café where a specially prepared three-course meal and boutique wine list awaits. Peter & Birgit Weir have created a special experience exclusive to Pure Gold guests.

Following breakfast at Bank on Main, tour Scion Vineyard & Winery, Rutherglen's smallest boutique vineyard. Jan & Rowly will conduct a tasting of their unique handcrafted wines, accompanied by a small selection of local food morsels.

Then savour the last element of the Pure Gold experience with John & Laurel at Wicked Virgin Olive Oil & Calico Town Wines. Taste fresh Australian Extra Virgin Olive Oils, Table Olives, Tapenades and Calico Town Wines. A late morning tea or afternoon tea is available, or perhaps a Mezze Platter lunch with a glass of wine and Tea or Coffee.
